SYMPOSIUM TWO:
LAND & PEOPLE

social justice, economic systems, & environmental sustainability

JAN - FEB 2021

In Northeast America, natural dyes link people to their environments, both rural and urban. The encounter with the land asks necessary questions about the decolonization of textile practices, environmental justice and socio-economic stability. In this section of the conference, participants explore new forms of community-building and world-building with and through natural dyes.
