Natural Dyes are often seen as dull and fleeting, unable to satisfy the desire for vivid colours in our daily lives.

I would like to demonstrate that it is possible to return to a time before the first synthetic dyes were discovered. A look through the history of textiles, i.e. examining pieces such as “The Lady with the Unicorn” tapestry series will effortlessly convince anyone that using colours derived from nature will quench any cravings for vibrancy.

I have chosen the universal motif of the bull's eye to represent a vision of focus. The concentric circles radiating affirmation from the centre to influence the world around us.
